One Response to “ROMNEY V OBAMA ???”

President Obama’s policy positions, foreign and domestic, economic and social, with the notable exception of the ACA are very nearly indistinguishable from those of President Bush; which will be very nearly indistinguishable from those of President Romney. Adventurous wars, bailouts of favored industries, picking winners and losers via U. S. economic policy. Our Constitution has become an inconvenient impediment to be circumvented by our elected representatives, rather than the law of the land. Our president was going to close Guantanamo Bay prison. It’s still open. He promised the healthcare bill would be debated on C-Span. Instead, it was negotiated behind closed doors and the Madame Speaker famously said that they had to pass it to see what’s in it. Our president conducts himself like Vito Corleone, with his consigliere, Eric Holder presiding over a kill list of suspected Al Qaeda terrorists, and to date has executed without arrest, trial, indictment or conviction two American citizens via drone strike in Yemen. Also, if we aren’t in a war with Iran before the election I shall be astounded. I used to say that President Obama was “Bush Lite,” now I say that he’s evolved into Super Bush, “out-cowboying” the cowboy president in terms of involving our country in overseas conflicts.
