Sophie Scholl – The Final Days

 

A true story of Sophie Scholl, Germany’s most famous anti-Nazi heroine during WW2 as a 21 year old University student in Munich. She is a fearless activist of the underground resistance group White Rose. As they distribute leaflets at the University they are arrested by the Gestapo, interrogated, tried by a kangaroo court and sentenced along with her brother Hans to the guillotine. After their executions, copies of the White Rose leaflets were smuggled to the Allies who printed millions of copies of the “Manifesto of the Students of Munich” that were dropped by airplanes onto German cities.
