The Look of Silence – Indonesia

Adi Rukun’s brother was butchered in the 1965 Indonesian purge where one million Indonesian citizens were murdered by their own government and military which is Democide and Genocide. Adi courageously confronts and interviews his brothers murderers 50 years later in this documentary in 2015. These murderers have ruled Indonesia ever since the Democide occurred with impunity.  Some of these murderers literally drank the blood of their victims by the glass full.
